Mindy Hazeltine, owner of Stumptown Dance, has had the pleasure of teaching dance in and around Portland, Oregon since 2005. At the Swingin' Gypsy Weekend, she place 2nd in 2010 and 3rd in 2009 in the Jack and Jill Competition. Her dancing background includes a wide variety of partner dance forms but her favorites and the ones she teaches are the dance forms that fall into the family of vintage swing (Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa & 6-Count/East Coast Swing). Mindy greatly enjoys participating in the growth and learning process of dancers who she teaches and interacts with and you can find her out social dancing with everyone at the majority of Portland's "swing" dance events.
