What is Stumptown Dance Membership?
The Stumptown Dance Membership program was originally introduced when Westside Swing became Stumptown Dance and moved into the heart of Portland from the suburbs. The goal was to provide an opportunity for non-students to receive the same great deal on dancing events that the students already had access to. Up until the fall of 2009 the membership was essentially a discount club. Now, it has become much more...
Stumptown Dance Members enjoy a variety of benefits including:
1. Discounts on Stumptown Dance events. Pay the same rate as students for dances, private lessons, group lessons, workshops, live bands, etc.
2. A variety of non-dance, social activities at zero-low cost. See member's activities below.
3. The pleasure of getting to know fellow dancers in another light (ie. On a hiking trail or around the dinner table, etc).
4. Only $35 for 365 days of dancing, fun and friends!
How to Join in the fun?:
You can become a Stumptown Dance Member! Simply register and pay the $35 membership dues at any Stumptown Dance event and you will be an official Stumptown Dance Member for one year from that day until the same day next year. When you pay the $35 dues you begin receiving the discounts right then and there (ie. If you register and pay your $35 dues at a Sunday Swing dance then your cost to dance that night will only be $6 instead of the general admission of $8.)
