We have a radio onhold and we’re satisfied with that.
Do all your customers like YOUR choice of music? Does the station sometimes float off frequency so the music is blurry and full of static? Do your employees change the frequency to a station of their choice? Do your competitors advertise on the station playing on your onhold button so your customers hear their ads while onhold for you?
Also, there are two organizations (ASCAP and BMI) that randomly call businesses to find those playing a radio. Then they tell you to either stop playing the radio or pay them fees to do so. Believe it or not, you do not have the right to play a radio over your hold button without paying for it.
